Kineau:At 17 feet tall, Kineau is a symbol of a more natural culture, a lifestyle that exists with nature and not against it. The Native American people are part of our history, our mysticism and our past. They did not feel the need to consume the environment around them or take advantage of the world's abundance for their own greed. The harmony and balance in which they lived with and within their surroundings has always inspired me to try to live in balance with what nature has provided. Approximately 80% of this piece is made up of waste metals.
In fact, the claws are old U-Bolts from the rear axles of tractor trailers.
