Vaquero:In art as in life there are times when you just have to put your foot down, draw the line or say the buck stops here. This piece is a direct reflection of some feelings that I had when The RD and Irma Holt Memorial
Sculpture Garden was senselessly damaged by unknown vandals. The message is much like the way things were in the old west. If you were out on the tundra settling a farm for you to raise your family crops and livestock, you had to be ready willing and able to defend all that you have worked for. I realize that things are not as rough and lawless as the old west, but the feelings still hold true.
You mess with the bull your going to get the horns.
