A note from the artist
I commissioned myself to do a metal sculpture garden in memory of Robert Donald and Irma Holt, who were instrumental in my achieving my educational goals. With their help I was able to open doors that otherwise would have been closed.
The bird sculptures are specifically dedicated to the memory of the women who served our country during World War II as welders. Visit our "Winnie the Welder" tribute page for more information.
The RD and Irma Holt Memorial Sculpture Garden has been a non-profit organization since the summer of 2004. The proceeds from the metal sculpture garden will go toward maintaining the garden itself and establishing a nature center which people of all ages can enjoy.
If you would like to commission a replica of any of the metal sculptures displayed in the RD and Irma Holt Memorial Sculpture Garden, or have an idea for a custom metal sculpture that you would like created, please contact me, Larry Corriveau.

Hand Fabricated Metal
Basically there are three tools that I use: a simple arc welder, an Oxygen Acetylene torch and a grinder.
These are the basic tools needed to fabricate things out of metal. There are numerous modern day tools such as plasma cutters,
mig welders and so on but the tools that I use are tools at the roots and history of metal working and metal fabrication.
